4ecotips is striving to make this website accessible as recommended by the w3c.
The site has been tested across multiple browsers (Netscape, Mozilla, Internet Explorer and Opera.)
The website has been tested using the automatic Watchfire analyzer for accessibility and we have made great attempts to fix all Priority 1, Priority 2 and Priority 3 failures.
All of the 4ecotips supplied textual elements scale using the browser controls.
Colours have been kept to a minimum to avoid red/green and other such colour related problems.
The print button can be used to print articles, but also as a mechanism to obtain pages with minimal html markup, which should be more friendly to screen readers.
We acknowledge that the website may not be perfect, but we have made efforts and have had accessibility in mind when the site was put together.
Should you have issues and comments then please let us know by sending an email to the editor@4ecotips.com. This is the second major version of the website and we would welcome your ideas on how we may imrove the website for the next version.
We take accessibility seriously not only because it is the law but also as we can not afford to lose a single reader whilst we try to raise awareness of Global Warning issues and build momentum for actually doing something about it.
Kind regards,
The Editor. |
